Beth Bullard and Allen Krantz Perform

The Music Department presented a concert of flute and guitar music featuring flutist Beth Bullard and classical guitarist Allen Krantz at 8:15pm in Rubendall Recital Hall.  The pair performed Maurice Ravel's "Pièce en forme de habanera"; Jacques Ibert's "Entr'acte"; George Frideric Handel's "Sonata in E minor (Halle sonata no. 2) for Baroque flute and continuo"; a traditional Lakota Sioux melody collected by Frances Densmore and as performed by R. Carlos Nakai; T.R. Mahalingam's "Mali's note"; Leopold Fuhrmann's "Chorea Anglica"; Melchior Neusidler's "Der Fuggerin Tanz"; Allen Krantz's "Summer music for flute and guitar"; Isaac Albéniz's "Mallorca (Barcarole) and Asturias (Leyenda) for solo guitar"; and Astor Piazzola's "Histoire du tango".
