Jeffrey Fahnestock Performs

The Music Department presented a faculty recital by tenor Jeffrey Fahnestock, accompanied by pianist Mark Markham, at 8:15pm in Rubendall Recital Hall. Fahnestock performed Henry Purcell's "Sweeter than roses", "Music for a while", and "I'll sail upon the Dog Star"; Ludwig van Beethoven's "Adelaide", "Wonne de Wehmuth", and "Andenken"; Charles Romlinson Griffes' "Le Jardin", "Impression du Matin", "La Mer", and "Le Réveillon"; Ralph Vaughan Williams' "The Water Mill", "Orpheus with his Lute", and "Linden Lea"; and Francis Poulenc's "C.", "Bleuet", "Miel de Narbonne", "Bonne d'enfant", and "Enfant de troupe".
