1994 Christmas Candlelight Service

Dickinson College presented its "Christmas Festival of Lessons and Music" featuring students, faculty, and ensembles from the Music Department. Pieces performed included the Catalonian carol "Fum, Fum, Fum" (arr. M.L. Thompson), Gustav Holst's "In the Bleak Mid-Winter" (arr. D.E. Allured), Franz Gruber's "Silent Night" (arr. C. Dobrinski), Valerie Stephenson's "People of Joy", Benjamin Britten's "There is no Rose", the 14th century carol "Angelus ad Virginem", Harold Darke's "In the bleak mid-winter", William Byrd's "O Magnum Mysterium", Johann Sebastian Bach's "Air on the G String" (arr. Adrian Drover), and David Uber's "A Christmas Festival of Carols, op. 78".
