The Music Department presented "Through a Musical Kaleidoscope: Composers Interpret Dickinson and Carlisle, 1773-1998", the 1998 Emil R. and Tamar Weiss Prize for the Creative Arts presentation, in Rubendall Recital Hall at 8:00pm on Fri., Feb. 13 and at 3:00pm on Sat., Feb. 14. The program included Heather Marie Hirsch's "Theme and Variations on The Liberty Song", a presentation on the American Civil War by Michele Marie Tourney, Matthew Dennis Coburn's "Have You Heard the Muse?", Steven Michael Mercier's "Journey Eternal", and Mary Beth Horvath's "The Establishment".
