Shirley S. King Performs

The Music Department presented a faculty recital by organist Shirley S. King at 8:00pm at the First Lutheran Church of Carlisle.  King performed Johann Sebastian Bach's "Allein Gott in der Höh sei Ehr', BWV 715," "Liebster Jesu, wir sind hier, BWV 730/731," "Aus tiefer Not schrei' ich zu dir, BWV 868," and "Fantasia and Fugue in F minor, BWV 542"; Felix Mendelssohn's "Sonata IV, op. 65"; Lee Hastings Bristol, Jr.'s "Hymn: Dickinson College"; Peter Hurford's "Bristol Suite"; Robert Pound's "Prelude on 'Dickinson College'"; and Jean Langlais' "Neuf Pièces."
