- Dr. Donald T. Graffam argued that students "mature significantly" during their four years at Dickinson.
- Professor Harry F. Booth reviewed Professor Allan Ludwig's new book, Grave Images: New England Stonecarving and its Symbols, 1650-1815.
- Mary Gratiot (class of 1966) described her experience teaching school in Adi Ugri, Eritrea.
- The Dickinson College-Carlisle Community Orchestra was fully instrumented and made their first appearance of the season in the Holland Union theater.
