Football Game vs. Allegheny College, 1947

This video includes clips of a football game between Dickinson College and Allegheny College on October 11, 1947. This game, which Dickinson ties 14-14, is held at Dickinson's Biddle field. While the first few clips are in color, the rest are black and white. There are also short clips of the band marching on the field, freshmen wearing dinks, and spectators walking across the field after the game.

Construction of Drayer Hall, 1952

This post features clips of the construction of Drayer Hall and the Sadler Curtilage at Dickinson Law School in 1952. Drayer Hall, which opened in 1952, was the first dormitory built at Dickinson College exclusively for women. The Baird Biology Building, which is on Morgan Field, is also visible in a short clip at around the 1:20 mark in this video.

Phi Delta Theta House Construction, 1931

It includes a groundbreaking ceremony on May 1, 1931 that features Professor William Weidman Landis (Class of 1891), a member of the fraternity as a student, Dean Hoffman (Class of 1902), J. Freed Martin (Class of 1912), and George B. Elliott (Class of 1931).
