1940 Christmas Seal Campaign Begins
Mon., Dec. 2, 1940
A committee of students directed by James Steele began a fundraising drive as part of the Christmas Seal Campaign, a national fundraiser for charities fighting tuberculosis. The committee aimed to sell 25 special Christmas Seal Campaign stamps featuring singing children to each student on campus to raise a total of $135.
