1999 Pflaum Lecture

Dr. Mercedes Vilanova, a visiting scholar at Harvard University's Center for European Studies, delivered the 1999 Pflaum Lecture titled "Grassroots Politics in Barcelona during the Spanish Civil War: Illiteracy, Worker's Movements, and Women." This event was held in Memorial Hall and was co-sponsored by the Department of History and the Clarke Center.
