Ellen Weaver Delivers Women in Science Lecture

Ellen Weaver, a Phi Beta Kappa Visiting Scholar, gave a lecture in the new Women's Center on women in science and photosynthesis. Weaver, specializing in ocean photosynthesis, has performed research across the world, while advocating for increased participation of women in science despite "sexist wording in ads, textbooks, and some professor's lectures discourag[ing] many women from entering science."
