President Samuel A. Banks wrote "Efficient, thorough and dedicated to the causes to which he made commitment, Dr. Corson sought to enhance the curriculum and other aspects of the program at the College under conditions very different from those we know today- the economy of the Depression and the upheaval of World War II. We acknowledge his achievements and remember him with respect and appreciation".
