Major Robert Y. Stuart passes away
Mon., Oct. 23, 1933
Major Robert Y. Stuart, Dickinson alum, Board of Trustees member and Chief forester of the United States Forest Service, passes away. Major Stuart had previously received a honorary degree of doctor of science for his work in the forestry service. Major Stuart was responsible for the plan of campus planting created by his class. While, at Dickinson, Major Stuart played half-back on the football team, was a member of the Belles Lettres literacy society and Phi Delta Theta.
