A panel discussion entitled "School Choice and Education Reform: Is there a Balance?" featured Senator James Gerlach (Class of 1977), Representative John R. Gordner (Class of 1983), Representative Al Masland (Class of 1979), Senator Howard Mowery, and Pennsylvania Secretary of Education Eugene W. Hickok. Dr. Hickok taught political science at Dickinson from 1980 to 1995. The panel also explored "career opportunities with key alumni in Pa. state government." The Dickinson Alumni Office and the Clarke Center sponsored this event..
