  • Charles S. Sellers reviewed the history of Dickinson's library, including the collections of rare books and other material.
  • A Harrisburg television station featured Dickinson's Reserve Officer Training Corps (ROTC) in a program on patriotism titled "Valley Forge Revisited."
  • Rev. Gaither P. Warfield (class of 1917) was honored upon his retirement as general secretary of the Methodist Committee for Oversea Relief (MCOR).
