Oratorical Junior Prize Contest 1863
Mon., Jun. 22, 1863
This contest was held on June 22, 1863. Twelve members of the Junior class gave orations. Sebastian Brown won the gold medal for his speech entitled "National Reform," and Moses A. Points won the silver medal for his speech on "Conflict as a Means of Humanity." Music was provided by the U.S. Garrison Band.
