Sophomore Oratorical Contest 1875

This annual oratorical contest was held on Tuesday, May 18, 1875. Six members of the Sophomore class gave speeches in a variety of subjects. S.W. Smith of Philadelphia won the gold medal for his speech titled "Who are Patriots."
