In this edition, a fire of a "highly suspicious origin" happened in the Sigma Chi fraternity house's bathroom closet. There was speculation about the source being a bottle rocket that was thrown into the bathroom by highly flammable objects. The All-College Study Group on Religious Affairs reveals its findings from reevaluating the Office of the College Chaplain. Swimmer Clyde Vedder gained All-American honors for the third consecutive season by finishing ninth in the 100 yard butterfly at the NCAA Division III championship meet. The College store was awarded accreditation by the National Association of College Stores.
