Memorial Service for Michael L. Britton

Dickinson College held a memorial service for Michael L. Britton, Vice President and Treasurer of the College, at 12:15pm in the Anita Tuvin Schlechter Auditorium.  Dean Neil B. Weissman, President A. Lee Fritschler, and former Board of Trustees Chair Sidney D. Kline, Jr. presented an honorary degree and offered reflections.  The Eaken Piano Trio performed Mascagni's "Intermezzo Sinfonico", mezzo-soprano Lynn Helding performed Libby Larsen's "Lift Me Into Heaven Slowly", pianist Jennifer Blyth performed Richard Hundley's "The Astronomers (an epitaph)", and the Choir performed Karl Heinrich Graun's "Surely He Hath Borne Our Griefs" and René Clause's "Set Me as a Seal Upon Your Heart".  Members of the community offered additional remembrances.
