"Why Black Voices are Important" Lecture

Jerry Ward, a poet and historian, Jewel Williams, a civil rights activist, and Thomas Dent, a poet and historian, gave a lecture in Anita Tuvin Schlechter Auditorium titled "Why Black Voices are Important." It was co-sponsored by the departments of American Studies, Anthropology, English, History, and Sociology, as well as the Community Studies Center, the Office of Multicultural Affairs, the Central Pennsylvania Consortium, and the Clarke Center.
