A second meeting of members of the "Little Three" was held, at which several plans for inter-college cooperation were laid, including the immediate creation of a Little Three basketball team and the sharing of news items between the colleges' respective newspapers each week. The queen and court of the mid-winter ball are elected. The first ever inter-fraternity weekend is scheduled. Construction begins on South College, which is set to open around Easter vacation. Student Senate holds its first open meeting on the institution of popular elections for senators. An exhibition of William Blake's artwork opens in Bosler Hall.
