Dickinsonian, October 1881
The Dickinsonian is revived after a two-year stint of absence. The baseball team beats out Gettysburg in a close game of 9 to 5, decided in the last two innings after a 4-4 tie after the seventh. A memorial service is held for President James Garfield. The seniors reinstate the Commencement Week tradition of Class Day. The baseball team plays two games against the Harrisburg Anchors, losing 11-6.
