In this issue, the Dickinsonian welcomes the incoming class. The rules of football are changed and the rules for underclassmen change as well.  Professor William Alfred Hutchinson is selected head of the Preparatory school after Professor Downes resigns. Kappa Sigma has a successful conclave. Dr. Morgan vacates post as sophomore class dean to become dean of the college.  Dr. McIntire moves from his position as freshman class dean to fill the open sophomore class dean seat.  Professor Filler is appointed dean of the Freshman class.  The English Department is divided into the Department of Rhetoric and Old English and the Department of Literature. The student handbooks are printed and delivered on time.
