17th Annual Black Arts Festival

Sun., Mar. 2, 1985

The 17th Annual Black Arts Festival was held March 3-9. The festival, with the theme "A Cultural Celebration", featured lectures, poetry, bands, and a showing of the Broadway musical production Ain't Misbehavin'. In previous years the festival did not have any emphasis on the arts, instead focusing with political science and economic issues.
