1966 Brass Ensemble and College-Community Orchestra Spring Concert

The College Brass Ensemble and the College-Community Orchestra gave a concert together in College Theater in the HUB at 8:00pm. The Brass Ensemble performed the first half of the program, playing Gordon Jacobs' "Interludes for Trumpets and Trombones", Edmund Haines' "Toccata", Frank Smith's "In dir ist Freunde" and "Was Gott thut, das ist wohlgethan", Adriano Banchieri's "Fantasia in Canon" and "Fantasia in Echo", Johann Pezel's "Sonate No. 27", Houston Bright's "Legend and Canon", Burrill Phillips' "Prelude", Jean Berger's "Intrada", and Robert Sanders' "Suite: Sonatina and March". The College-Community Orchestra performed the second half of the program: Adrianus Valerius' "O ongeluckighe Tydt", "Merck Toch Hoe Sterck", and "Wilt Heden Nu Treden"; Arcangelo Corelli's "Concertino for Two Trumpets and Strings"; Joseph Haydn's "Symphony No. 45 (Farewell Symphony)"; and Berger's "Short Overture for Strings".
