1991 Spring Symphonic Band Concert

The Music Department presented a spring concert by the Symphonic Band at 3:00pm in the Anita Tuvin Schlechter Auditorium.  The band performed John Philip Sousa's "Fairest of the Fair"; William Byrd's "The Earle of Oxford's March"; R.L. Hayes' arrangements of the Southern melodies "Old Kentucky Home", "Turkey in the Straw", "Massa's in the Cold, Cold Ground", "Oh Susanna", "Old Black Joe", "Listen to the Mockingbird", "Old Folks at Home", and "Dixie"; Frank Simon's "Willow Echoes"; Paul Nagle's arrangement of "That's a Plenty"; Henry Fillmore's "Lassus Trombone"; selections from Leonard Bernstein's West Side Story and the overture to Candide; Jaime Texidor's "Amparita Roca"; and Peter J. Wilhovsky's setting of "Battle Hymn of the Republic".
