215th Opening Convocation

The 215th opening convocation was held on Tuesday, September 1, 1987 at 7:30 pm in the Kline Life/Sports Learning Center. After introductory remarks and a welcoming, the crowd heard remarks from the Dean and the introduction of new faculty members and the announcement of student honors. The Director of Admissions then offered the matriculation of new students. Remarks from President Fritschler were then heard. Faculty promotions, new appointments, college sophisters, and honor prizes and scholarships were announced. Several individuals were recognized for excellence in special fields.
