Beaver College Early Music Consort Performs

The Beaver College Early Music Consort gave a concert at 3:00pm in Memorial Hall. Dickinson professor Beth Bullard played Baroque flute in the ensemble. The consort's program featured Johann Christian Bach's "Quintet in D major for flute, violin, oboe, viola da gamba, and harpsichord", Giovanni Gabrieli's "Sonata for three melody instruments and basso continuo", Dario Castello's "Sonata for violin and basso continuo", Georg Philipp Telemann's "Concerto in G major for flute, oboe d'amore, and basso continuo" and "Quartet in G major for flute, violin, oboe, and basso continuo", Johann Sebastian Bach's "Trio Sonata in G major for flute, violin, and basso continuo", Francesco Turini's "E tanto tempo hormai", and Francois Couperin's "Le Rossignol-en-emour".
