Brass Ensemble and Symphonic Band Perform

The Music Department presented a concert by the Brass Ensemble and the Symphonic Band at 7:30pm in Rubendall Recital Hall.  The ensembles performed Robert King's transcriptions of Jean Joseph Mouret's "Rondeau" and George Frideric Handel's "Allegro" from The Water Music; Stephen Bonta's arrangement of Josquin des Prés' "Tulerunt Dominum"; Gary Kulesha's transcription of Claude Debussy's "Ministrels" from Preludes, Book I; Arthur Frackenpohl's arrangement of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart's "Alleluja" from Exsultate, Jubilate; Steve Cooper's arrangement of Lew Pollack's "That's A Plenty"; Ralph Vaughan Williams' "Flourish for Wind Band"; Julius Fucik's "Florentiner"; Hugh Stuart's "A Hymn for Band"; Robert Washburn's "Burlesk for Band"; and Kenneth J. Alfred's "Colonel Bogey".
