Brass Ensemble Performs at Allison United Methodist Church

The Music Department presented a recital of the Brass Ensemble at Allison United Methodist Church at 3:00pm, as part of the "Music at Allison" series. The ensemble performed Henry Purcell's "Intrada and Rondo", Steve Mercier's "Coup de langue", Gustav Holst's "Song Without Words", John Stevens' "Power', Richard Proulx's "Gaudeamus!", Théodore Dubois' "Prelude—En Forme de Carillon", Johann Sebastian Bach's "Wachet auf! ruft uns die Stimme" and "Nun Danket Alle Gott", Paul Dukas' "Fanfare, 'La Péri'", Sigfried Karg-Elert's "Wachet auf! ruft uns die Stimme", Golden & Hubbell's "Poor Butterfly", Ralph Pearce's "Mexican Tuba Dance", Anton Dvorák's "Andante", Thomas Tallis' "Hymn", Gerald Near's "Sarabande", and Richard Strauss' "Solemn Entry".
