Buzz Jones Big Band and Jazz Ensemble Perform

The Department of Music presented the Buzz Jones Big Band with the Jazz Ensemble in a concert at 8:00pm in Rubendall Recital Hall. They played Sammy Nestico's "Funtime", "Color Me Warm", and "The Heat's On"; John Oddo's arrangement of "John Brown's Other Body"; Billy Strayhorn's "Take the 'A' Train"; Michel Legrand's "Watch What Happens"; Jeff Holmes' "Junebug"; George Gershwin's "I've got a Crush on You" and "Strike up the Band"; Josef Zawinul's "Mercy, Mercy, Mercy"; Duke Ellington's "Don't get Around Much Anymore"; and Lieber/Stoller's "Kansas City".
