Buzz Jones Big Band Performs

The Department of Music presented the Buzz Jones Big Band in a concert at 8:00pm in Rubendall Recital Hall. They played George Gershwin's "Strike up the Band" and "I've got a Crush on You", Don Sebesky's "Big Mamma Cass", Duke Ellington's "Don't get around Much Anymore" and "Caravan", Billie Holiday's "God Bless the Child", Josef Zawinul's "Mercy, Mercy, Mercy", Erroll Garner's "Misty", Louis Prima's "Sing, Sing, Sing", Bob Mintzer's "Good News", Jerome's "Smoke gets in Your Eyes", and Billy Strayhorn's "Take the A Train".
