Chamber Choir and Jazz Ensemble Perform

The Music Department presented a concert by the Chamber Choir and the Jazz Ensemble at 8:00pm in Rubendall Recital Hall. The ensembles performed Ralph Vaughan Williams' arrangements of the English folk songs "The Dark-Eyed Sailor", "The Springtime of the Year", "Just as the Tide was Flowing", and "The Lover's Ghost"; John Lennon and Paul McCartney's "Norwegian Wood"; Ronald Huntington's arrangement of the African-American spiritual "Joshua fit de Battle of Jericho"; Kirby Shaw's arrangement of Stuart Gorrell and Hoagy Carmichael's "Georgia On My Mind"; Dave Riley and Dana Wilson's arrangement of Jule Styne's "Time after Time"; Sammy Nestico's arrangement of Sy Oliver's "Opus One"; Jeff Beal's "One for Ned"; Tom Pineo's "Uneducated Changes"; John Higgins and Mark Taylor's arrangement of Cootie Williams and Thelonious Monk's "'Round Midnight"; Manny Mendelson's arrangement of Fred Ahlert and Roy Turk's "Mean to Me"; Dave Wolpe's arrangement of Joe Young and Fred Ahlert's "I'm Gonna Sit Right Down and Write Myself a Letter"; and John Berry's arrangement of Buddy Johnson's "Since I Fell For You".
