Chapel Choir Presents "A Program of Russian Orthodox and Folk Music"

The Chapel Choir performed "A Program of Russian Orthodox and Folk Music". The first half of the concert featured music of the Orthodox Church, including Sergei Rachmaninov's "To Thee O Lord" and "Rejoice in the Lord, ye Righteous"; and Alfred Swan's "Stir Up the Embers Seven-fold", "Cherubic Hymn", and "Let Everything that Breathes Praise the Lord". The Choir concluded their program with six Russian folk songs arranged by Professor Truman Bullard: "Glow of Evening", "As We Weave Golden Straw", "On the Sea", "Did You See a Hawk in the Heavens?", "On the First of February", and "Skipping Through the Forest".
