Christmas Music Concert

The Music Department presented a concert of Christmas music performed by flutist Beth Bullard, pianist Truman Bullard, and soprano Janet Leyon. The pieces performed included "Ad cantum leticie" from Pie Cantiones, "On the Birthday of the Lord" from Nürnberger Gesangbuch, Benjamin Britten's "The Birds", Eric H. Thiman's "The Carol of the Birds", Beth Bullard's "Shepherd Girl's Song", Hector Berlioz's "Trio of the Young Ishmaelites", Peter Warlock's "Balulalow: A Cradle-song", Georg Friedrich Handel's "Süsse Stille", John Rutter's "Shepherd's Pipe Carol", Mary F. Caldwell's "A Lute Carol", the traditional Sicilian hymn "O Sanctissiona", Johann Sebastian Bach's "Jesu Joy of Man's Desiring", and Adolphe Adam's "O Holy Night".
