College Choir and Collegium Musicum Perform at Haverford College

The College Choir and Collegium Musicum performed with the Heinrich Schuetz Singers of Bryn Mawr and Haverford Colleges in an Anniversary Concert at 8:30pm in Roberts Hall on the Haverford College campus. The concert celebrated the 450th anniversary of Josquin des Prez, the 350th anniversary of Michael Praetorius, and the 350th anniversary of Jan Pieterszoon Sweelinck and thus featured music by all three composers. They sang de Prez's "Tu solus qui facis mirabilia", "Fama malum", "Agnus Dei", "Kyrie", "El Grillo", "Mille Regretz", and "Scaramella". To celebrate Prartorious the choirs performed "Nun freut euch lieben Christen g'mein" and "Wie nach einer Wasserquelle". Finally, they sang Sweelinck's "Mein junges Leben hat ein End", "Orsus, serviteurs du Seigneur", "Regina coeli", "Cantate Domino", and "Wie nach einer Wasserquelle".
