Collegium Musicum Christmas Concert 1999

The Music Department presented a Christmas concert by the Collegium Musicum at 7:00pm on Dec. 4 and at 4:00pm on Dec. 5 in Memorial Hall. The ensemble performed Ralph Vaughan Williams' arrangement of "Wassail Song', Gustav Holst's "In the Bleak Midwinter" (arr. A. Parker), Josquin des Prez's "Agnus I & III from Missa L'Homme armé sexti toni", William Byrd's "Laetentur coeli", Truman Bullard's arrangement A Wreath of Noels, Libby Larsen's Ringeltänze: Christmas Carol Dances, Guillaume Costeley's "Allon, gay bergeres", the traditional English carol "The Holly and the Ivy" (arr. R. Shaw and A. Parker), Elizabeth Poston's "Jesus Christ the Apple Tree", the traditional Spanish carol "Fum, fum, fum" (arr. Shaw/Parker), and the traditional French carol "Angels We Have Heard on High" (arr. Shaw/Parker).
