Collegium Musicum Christmas Concert 2000

The Music Department presented the Collegium Musicum's 2000 Christmas concert at 7:00pm on Sat., Dec. 2 and at 4:00pm on Sun., Dec. 3 in Memorial Hall. The ensemble performed Ludovico da Viadana's "Exultate justi", Charles' Ives' "A Christmas Carol", Morten Lauridsen's "O magnum mysterium", Giovanni Rovetta's "Messa a 5.6.7 con Due Violini", Jacob Handl's "Resonet in laudibus", Heinrich Schütz's "Ein Kind ist uns geboren", Gustav Holst's "In the Bleak Midwinter" (arr. Alice Parker), Tomás Luis de Victoria's "Duo seraphim", Francisco Guerrero's "Canite tuba", the English traditional carol "I Saw Three Ships" (arr. D. Willcocks), the Basque traditional carols "Gabriel's message" (arr. D. Willcocks) and "I Saw a Maiden" (arr. C. Pettman), and John Rutter's "Nativity Carol".
