Collegium Musicum Christmas Concert 2002

The Music Department presented the Collegium Musicum's 2002 Christmas concert at 7:00pm on Sat., Dec. 7 and at 4:00pm on Sun., Dec. 8 in Memorial Hall. The ensemble performed William Billings' "The Shepherd's Carol" and "A virgin unspotted," Giovanni Pierluigi da Palestrina's Missa brevis, the traditional German carol "Maria durch ein' Dornwald ging" (arr. R. Hines), the traditional Spanish carol "A la nanita nana" (arr. R. Folstrom), Patrick Hadley's "I Sing of a Maiden," Daniel Read's "Shelburne," Morton Lauridsen's "O magnum mysterium," the traditional American tune "Wondrous love" (arr. R. Boyd), Tomás Luis de Victoria's "Ne timeas, Maria," and Michael Praetorius' "Psallite unigenito."
