Collegium Musicum Performs

The Music Department presented a concert by the Collegium Musicum at 3:00pm in Memorial Hall. The ensemble performed Antoine Busnois' "L'homme armé"; Josquin Des Prez's "L'homme armé", "Scaramella", and "Nimphes des bois"; Orlando di Lasso's "Lamentations of Jeremiah"; the anonymous 15th century piece "Alla battaglia"; Clément Janequin's "La guerre"; Giovanni Pierluigi da Palestrina's "Super flumina Babylonis"; William Billings' "When David heard"; Giacomo Carissimi's "Plorate filii Israel"; Tomás Luis de Victoria's "Introit"; Heinrich Schütz's "Naket bin ich"; Pompeo Natale's "Battaglia"; and Claudio Monteverdi's "Hor che'l ciel e la terra".
