Collegium Musicum Presents "Toccata Otava "

Collegium Musicum presented Toccata Otava, an evening of music and poetry, at 8:00pm in the Social Hall. Their program began with Orlando di Lasso's "Audite Nova!", "Im Lant zu Wirtenberg", and "Baur, Was Tregst im Sacke?". Then they presented lyric poems: "Chiare fresch' e dolci acque" and "Da bei rami scendea" by Jacques Arcadelt, "Io piango" by Luca Marenzio, and "Ohime il bel viso" by Claudio Monteverdi. They concluded their program with John Dowland's "Tosse Not My Soule", William Byrd's "I Thought That Love had Been a Boy", and Thomas Weelkes' "Grace My Lovely One, Fair Beauties" and "Lady, Your Eye My Love Enforced".
