Dedicatory Recital
Wed., Feb. 9, 1983
A dedicatory recital of music and poetry was given in honor of Professor Friedrich and Mary Sandels at the Emil R. Weiss Center for Music and Art. The program included a reading of German Lyric Poetry, Franz Schubert's "An die Musik" and "Wanderers Nachtlied", Robert Schumann's "Die Beiden Grenadiere", and Georg Philipp Telemann's "Concerto a tre for flute, horn and continuo". Following the concert, a dedication ceremony was held on the second floor of the Weiss Center where refreshments were served.
