Dickinson and Franklin and Marshall Choir-Orchestra Concert

The Department of Music presented a choir-orchestra concert in cooperation with Franklin and Marshall College at 3:30pm in Anita Tuvin Schlechter Auditorium. The groups performed Christoph Willibald von Gluck's "Ah, se intorno a quest'urna funesta", "Chi mai dell'Erebo fralle caligini", and "Trionfi, Amore, e il mondo intiero"; two settings of Psalm 117 by Diego Ortiz and Geog Philipp Telemann; Johann Sebastian Bach's "O Jesu Christ meins Lebens Licht" and "Nun ist das Heil"; Alan Hovhaness' "The Mysterious Mountain"; Franz Josef Haydn's "Concerto for Trumpet and Orchestra"; and the prelude to Richard Wagner's Die Meistersinger.
