Dickinson and Swarthmore Choral Concert

The Dickinson College Chamber Choir and the Swarthmore College Singers gave a concert at 8:15pm in Lang Concert Hall at Swarthmore College. Their program included Alfred Swan's "Let Thy Soul be Full of Exceeding Gladness"; Giovanni Pierluigi da Palestrina's "Ad te levavi oculos meos"; Ernst Bloch's "Devotion" from The Sacred Service; Thomas Weelkes' "O Mortal Man Remember Well" and "Hark! All ye lovely saints above"; Luca Marenzio's "Motet for four voices" from Motectorum pro festis totius anni, Olivier Messiaen's "Motet for four voices"; Thomas Tallis' "Motet for five voices"; William Byrd's "Motet for four voices"; John Wilbye's "Thus saith my Cloris bright", "Draw on sweet night", and "Lady, your words do spite me"; Ralph Vaughn-Williams' "The Dark Eyed Sailor", "Just as the Tide was Flowing", and "The Lover's Ghost"; Felix Mendelssohn's "Ave Maria"; and Claudio Monteverdi's "Laudate Dominum omnes gentes".
