Dickinson Collegium Presents "An American Journey"

The Music Department presented "An American Journey," a concert by the Dickinson Collegium, at 4:00pm in Memorial Hall. The ensemble performed the traditional American pieces "Wondrous Love" (arr. R. Boyd), "Fulfillment," "Bozrah," "The Midnight Cry," and "How Firm a Foundation" (arr. P.L. Anderson); Aaron Copland's "At the River," "Simple Gifts," "Promise of Living," "Long time ago," and "Ching-a-ring chaw"; Bernardo Pisano's "Una donna l'altrier"; Philippe Verdelot's "O dolce nocte" and "Quanto sia lieto il giorno"; Morton Lauridsen's "O magnum mysterium"; Truman Bullard's arrangement Songs Cheerful, Tearful, and Fearful: A Tour of American through Folksongs.
