Dickinson Collegium Presents "Virgo Sancta, Virgo Pia"

The Music Department presented "Virgo Sancta, Virgo Pia: Music by Women Composers of the 12th-18th Centuries," a concert by the Dickinson Collegium, at 4:00pm in Memorial Hall. The ensemble performed Hildegard von Bingen's "In Principio" and "Vos Flores," Vittoria Aleotti's "'T'amo mia vita', la mia cara vita," Chiara Margarita Cozzolani's "Quid, miseri, quid faciamus," Caterina Assandra's "O dulcis Amor Jesu," Francesca Caccini's "Tosche del Sol più belle," excerpts from Elisabeth Jacquet de La Guerre's Cephale et Procris, Isabella Leonarda's "Kyrie" from Messa concertata op. 4 no. 1, and Marianna von Martines' "Juravit Dominus" from Dixit Dominus.
