Dickinson Loses to State, 5-0
Sat., Nov. 17, 1906
The highly anticipated State game, held in Williamsport, attracted alumni and students alike to cheer on the team. The loss, State-6 to Dickinson-0, was a major upset with the College’s expected win. Explanations for the loss could be due to the slippery field and the fact that the State team had an extra 15 pounds to the man. But it was said that “when you consider the fact that she was outweighed 15 pounds to the man, Dickinson played a remarkable game of football.”
