Dickinson Singers Perform with F&M Chamber Chorus

The Dickinson Singers performed a concert with the F&M Chamber Chorus at 8:00pm on Sat., Feb. 20 in Rubendall Recital Hall and at 3:00pm on Sun., Feb. 21 in Franklin & Marshall College's Miller Recital Hall.  The choires performed Tomás Luis de Victoria's "Nigra sum, sed formosa"; William Byrd's "Viderunt omnes" and "Laudibus in sanctis"; Conrad Susa's "I hear an army", "He who hath glory lost", and "Strings in the erth and air"; Gioacchino Rossini's "Toast pour le nouvel an"; Anton Brucker's "Locus Iste"; Gabriel Fauré's "Cantique de Jean Racine"; Johannes Brahms' arrangements of the German folk songs "Da unten im Tale" and "In stiller Nacht"; Joseph Flummerfelt's arrangement of "Flow gently sweet Afton"; Samuel Barber's "Sure on this shining night"; and Johann Sebastian Bach's "Singet dem Herrn ein neues Lied".
