Frederick Urrey Performs

The Department of Music presented tenor Frederick Urrey in his debut faculty recital at 8:00pm in Memorial Hall. Accompanied by pianist Dai Uk Lee and violist Mark Pfannschmidt, Urrey sang Henri Duparc's "Phidyle", "L'Invitation au Voyage", "Serenade Florentine", and "Le Manoir de Rosemonde"; Benjamin Britten's "Seven Sonnets of Michelangelo"; Richard Strauss' "Heimliche Aufforderung", "Du meines Herzens Kronelein", "All mein Gedanken", "Freundliche Vision", and "Standchen"; and Ralph Vaughn Williams' "Lord! Come Away!", "Who is this Fair One?", "Come Love, Come Lord", and "Evening Hymn".
