Grace Hartigan Exhibit Opens
Fri., Sep. 12, 2003
Dickinson Professor Sharon L. Hirsch curated an exhibit entitled "Grace Hartigan: Painting Art History" that was on display in the Trout Gallery from September 12 to November 1, 2003 before moving to the Maryland Institute College of Art. The exhibit explored those of Hartigan's works that deliberately referred to art historical precedents with emphasis on her more recent creations.
