The Music Department presented a lecture and a recital by pianist Gustavo A. Tolosa titled "Works for Piano and Electronics by Women Composers: 1985-Present" at 4:00pm in Rubendall Recital Hall. The works performed included Emma Lou Diemer's "Rite of Summer", Sarah Johnston Reid's "From Whence Butterflies?", Diane Thome's "Ringing, Stillness, Pearl Light", Katherine Mishell's "Who's Laughing?", Frances White's "Still Life with Piano", Maia Ciobanu's "Concerto", Donna Marie McCabe's "Letters from Prison: Walled City Trilogy #1", Marian Rachel McInturff's "The Jagged Persistence of Memory", Katharine Norman's "Trying to Translate", Hope Lee's "entends, entends, le passé qui marche...", Ann Warde's "Chromosphere", and Alicyn Warren's "Shadowbox".
